Courses are delivered in a variety of formats: semester-long courses, running both during the day and evenings; one-week intensives offered in each season of the year, our popular five-friday format as well as Online and Livestream.
Online courses allow you to view or read materials on your own and submit course work to meet scheduled deadlines.
Livestream courses use Zoom meeting technology to allow students to join courses in real time, live as though they were in the classroom. A student can join from anywhere, as long as they have a computer with a good internet connection and a camera and microphone.
Some of our students are living in the Greater Toronto Area (within a two-hour drive). Others come from a distance (e.g., New York, Virginia, California and British Columbia). They schedule trips to Toronto during intensive weeks, take courses online, and they have the opportunity to do other courses as Directed Reading and Research (D.R.R.) courses (which are under the direction of a supervisor, but require no class time).
All of our courses are offered jointly with Tyndale University. The MTS and many courses for the M.Div programs are offered in Online or Livestream formats.
Not everyone can come to us, so we will do what we can to meet you halfway.
